OMG, I cant believe this time next week I'll be in Punta Cana!!!

Rebecca, thanks again for that to-do list, it has been a godsend! I printed it out and actually posted it on my fridge. It has been very easy to assign my FI a task and he gets excited when he finally gets something done (such a toddler, lol!)

I just have a couple more things to do and I'm so estatic right now! I'm hoping all this excitement outweighs my nerves as the date soon approaches! This is what I've been doing since yesterday : bunny_4.gifbunny_4.gifbunny_4.gif, lol and will be doing all the way to DR!

I just got a call from my WC - she was in the process of assigning rooms to my guests and she doesn't understand why my nephews are in the room with Chris and I.

MY TA SCREWED UP THE RESERVATIONS - AGAIN!!!

I am seriously about to go all bridezilla on her a$$!!!! As soon as I get the reservation list from the WC, my TA and I are going to have it out - and I'm going to enjoy it. A LOT.

Who the f needs this. I'm leaving in a week!!!!!

My fiance finally got his suit this weekend. And he ended up getting it for a smokin' deal. Linen pants, jacket & longsleeved shirt for just over $100. woo hoo! And I go in for my final fitting on Thursday. Holy cow! Now we're pretty much set....we just need to pack.

I can't believe it's right around the corner now. smile123.gif

That totally sucks about your travel agent!! I've had my own issues with mine. Very similar actually. I just don't understand....how stupid do you have to be to get that job? We leave in 10 days. I can't wait!! We pretty much have everything ready to go. All I'm worried about now is getting waxed. I decided I did not want to shave every day for the two weeks that we are in Mexico. I am getting both legs and a brazillian.....yikes! I've never even had my eyebrows waxed! I'm more nervous about this than going skydiving in Mexico. Hopefully it will be worth it. Any suggestions on how to control the pain?

All is squared away with the rooms. I just worked with the WC at the hotel and cut the TA out altogether. I'll call her in a little while and let her know that I've once again handled her job for her.

Seriously!!! The woman is worthless. I could have done this better and more easily by myself.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
