AUGUST '08 brides!!

Maura - I love your programs!! The color and fonts are great.

I really want to make programs, but the WC at Sandals said I have to meet with my on-site coordination (1 day before the wedding) to get the layout of our ceremony. I think that is BS!!!! Sandals does hundreds of weddings a year and I am the only one asking thishuh.gif??

thanks melissa! i am betting that they can give you your ceremony info in advance if you push for it....

today i sent my two BMs that live in the US a package with a 2-disc mix of mexican music to get them excited for mexico and got them each this card (wrote a personal message inside too):

and the inside says:

Be one of my best friends and

walk down the aisle with me

I thought the cards were too funny to pass up - it is exactly the kind of thing we'd all say to each other.

Here's the link to the company that makes them, you can find out on their site where to buy their cards near you! They have so many funny ones.

NAUGHTY BETTYâ„¢

here's the one i just sent to a friend who got engaged over the weekend:

the website is wrong about what the inside says though, it actually says:

Let the Mr. & Mrs. Mania Begin, Congratulations!

and one i bought for a friend whose wedding is coming up in the fall:

this one is for her bachelorette party

inside says: Hello to becoming the Mrs.

and for her actual wedding day as a private card to her, i will give them another card with $ in it for a gift, so this one is just for her:

inside says: Congratulations on your shiny

new married life.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
