haha yes, true! i decided i CANNOT take it out of the drawer until july 12 to avoid problems losing it again - and after the night of july 12 when i take it off, i will put it right back in the same spot and leave it there without trying it on until august 5th when i pack it into my carry on!

Easy... quick... a total non-event. But then we went to this great little pub in the new 'hood and loved it! The food was fantastic - some of the best French onion soup I've had. So, one marriage license and a new "local"! Woohoo!

i have a pic of the BM earrings too but photobucket is going really slow this morning for some reason. i will post when it finally uploads. the designer is so nice, she even threw in a free pair of earrings *which just happen to match my shower dress* so now im thinking i might wear the same dress to my 2nd shower that i wore to the first one because i have these cute earrings!

Although our DW is in Nov, we have decided to have our legal ceremony in Aug. I have talked to our MOH and BM and they will be there with us. My MOH works in a registry office, so she is getting us the marriage certificate for free.

We have decided to do it on 08/08/08. This will be our special day that we can combine with my birthday since that will also be my birthday. We will be celebrating our anniversay withhour DW date, but this way we can celebrate both and no one else even has to know.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
