Do you have anything else in mind besides the El Dorado Royale?
Thanks for your response! We've been looking at the Paradisus Riviera Cancun Resort and Playacar Palace.. Have you heard anything good or bad about these resorts?
Thanks, Steph

Hi! Welcome!!

I'm getting married at the Moon Palace and have stayed at the Cancun Palace before. We also have family who have stayed at Palace Resort and have nothing bad to say about them!

With the Palace Resorts, you can stay at one, and then go to the others if you want (Cancun Palace beach is amazing) and if you stay 3 or more nights, they include excursions...a great bonus, if you ask me.

Good Luck!

Welcome! Try looking into the Dreams resorts, they don't charge asronomical fees for private dinners, only $28 pp for set up and all the food and drinks are included. One of the big problems we had with the AI's we looked at other than Dreams, was that they charged extra for a private dinner and for drinks although our guests and ourselves were going to be staying there all inclusive for the week...it seemed ridiculous. Goodluck with the planning!

Welcome! I am getting married in Playa del Carmen in October. I know a lot of people are saying don't read Trip Advisor... but I personally found it very helpful looking at the pictures that were posted by the reviewers. It gives you a better idea of that the hotel looks like on a day to day basis rather than the professional pictures that are on the website. But I do agree that actual reviews on Trip Advisor just confuse you! Happy Planning!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
