Uneven Bridal Party

Recommended Posts

Does anyone else have an uneven Bridal party? Once I was proposed to I imediately knew who I wanted next to me (my sister and two BFF's) but FI has asked only one and is not sure if he wants to ask anyone else. I understand it gets into, if you ask him you should ask so and so... and then we have too many on his side. I don't care but wondered if anyone else did something similar?

If we do keep the sides uneven I think I will have the entire Bridal party stand to one side, at the ceremony, instead of splitting them up and be very obvious.

I've also seen the men at the front with the groom & the girls walk in together. It looks so natural. The groom has his friend with him for support & the girls have each other. I think it was a video someone put up recently. There were 2 or 3 girls walking in side by side maybe with their arms linked.

As a BM, I've always found it to be a little awkward walking in with a grooms man I barely know.

Let the girls shine on their own walking down the aisle angel1.gif We are having an uneven bridal party as well - 5 bridesmaids, 3 groomsmen. All of the groomsmen are walking in together and the ladies are walking in w/o an escort. I have been to a few weddings where this is the case and I have to say it has worked out better (and less crowded in the aisle) than having the groomsmen walk down more than one girl at a time.

Nikki... That's a great idea to have them all walk down on their own. I also have 5 bridesmaids and 3 groomsmen and I have been trying to figure out how they would walk down, and I think this is perfect :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
