Time sure does fly by... it seems like it wasn't too long ago that you were headed off to Mexico. I remember how excited I was for you. And I didn't realize your big day fell on St. Patty's day. that's awesome and such a great day to celebrate!!

Happy Anniversary Christa & R.!

Wow, thanks ladies!! That's really sweet that you took the time to recognize our 1 year anniversary blush2.gif Today has been a crazy day already, kinda like a Friday the 13th to be honest, but I have to stop the crazy & say "it doesn't matter, today it's been a year since I married Rafael! So it's a great day & that is all it is going to be about - celebrating our marriage." I do wish we were in Cabo right now though...

Time has gone by so quickly it's just crazy. Our first year of marriage has been filled with almost every life change you can imagine - new state, new jobs, building a house, oh yeah, and trying to build a strong marriage. It's been hard! But I guess thats what they say right? The first year is always the hardest. I feel like we are through the woods and can see the light at the other side finally! We are about to move into our new house & start a whole new chapter. Our goal for this 2nd year of marriage is to really focus on the love we have for each other & re-introduce some of those fun things we used to do that have gone away in the past 6 crazy months.

Thanks girls - and I'm glad you all have such great memories of the chair ties!!! For all the fans of those moments, here's a look back:

Oh Christa- it's a year already? That's crazy!

I remember our crazy planning days- when BDW was young! This has been a big year for us both, lots of changes, lots of experiences. I hope you and DH have a wonderful day together (that it gets better at least!) and enjoy your new house soon. Congratulations sweetie- you made it past the first year!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
