Playa Fiesta anyone?

Recommended Posts

Has anyone on this site been married at Playa Fiesta? It is a Wedding Botique hotel so only you and your guests occupy the hotel and the wedding welcome dinner and cermony/reception all take place right there. I am trying to get more information so if any is planning a DW wedding there please let me know.

Have you seen these threads? They are really good for pics. PVbride recently got married there, but I haven't seen her review yet.

Also check out tripadvisor.com. Playa Fiesta gets raving reviews and you can PM the girls there for any questions.

Good luck!

I'm getting married at Playa Fiesta next February. We're doing a full takeover for 5 nights. I love the privacy of doing the buyout, and we're doing dinner/entertainment on 4 of the 5 nights, so it will really be a great party! Lindsay, the WC, is absolutely fantastic - I can't say enough about her. Feel free to PM me with specific questions. Good luck with your decision, Kate

Playa Fiesta is AMAZING! I visited the facility a few weeks ago and i Too am planning on having my wedding there in April of 2009.

I dropped in and was lucky enought to meet the owners, Lindsey and Adam, and they were super cool and accomodating to us dropping by.

You will love this place.

If you haven't been there...dont worry, the pictures dont lie!

If I can be of any further assitance, send me a message!

Hey!

I am doing a full takeover. At first I was very skepticle of the full takeover and thought it sounded like too big of a commitment, but we both have rather large families and several friends. The list starts to grow quickly.

We are only doing 4 nights. 5 nights just sounded like to many nights to have our guests commit to and 3 wasn't nearly enough....so we opted for the 4 night package (friday-tuesday) so it works out PERFECT!

Please excuse any miss-spelled words, Im typing this in a hurry.

peace

Amber

Suggestions huh? I just knew this was the place for me. I read lots of reviews and there were no negatives. I plan on doing a site visit this Oct. so I will get to see the place for the first time. The coordinators are great to work with and respond in a timely manner. It does end up being kind of pricey which is why went with the partial takover. More guests = more $ for the dinner, bar etc. I was also looking at las caletas but that really wasn't much cheaper. Let me know if you have any questions.

We have already booked our week, the minister and photogrpaher and our wedding is not until Oct 2009. Good luck.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
