I looked on the USPS' site and found these DC comic super heroes stamps. Since Will is a big comic fan and since we are doing informal boarding pass invitations, I think we are going to go with the super hero stamps. Not only do they reflect Will's love for comics but they are also super fun and very colorful. Love them!

Product: DC Comics Super Heroes

We will probably use 2 for each envelope.

That Heidi is a smart one...

I gave in and bought photostamps from stamps.com since my FI wanted OSU stamps for the STDs. They were postcard stamps, officially licensed by the college, so I did it.

Is this real postage?
Yes, PhotoStamps from Stamps.com are valid U.S. Postage, based on a technology called PC Postage, which is what creates the bar code you see to the right of the image area on PhotoStamps. Only vendors that are licensed and approved to produce PC Postage may display the logo seen below:

Stamps.com, the company behind PhotoStamps, has been a USPS-approved provider of PC postage since 1999, and is the industry leader. When the product first launched in 2004, PhotoStamps by Stamps.com was the first customized postage product ever to be offered in the United States. On May 11, 2006, Stamps.com was authorized by the USPS to print business logos, messages and images on PhotoStamps.
Yep, they're legit. Hubby works for them and they pay our bills so ORDER FROM PHOTOSTAMPS.COM. J/K other places offer them and I think they are a little pricey across the board. We get the employee discount which saved us a lot of $$ and we had our monograms put on the invitation stamps. They end up getting thrown away with the envelope but people really think it is neat. We put one of our wedding pics on the thank you note stamps. It's just a unique extra thing to do if you have the time.

I was about to order the photo stamps when I realized the cost --- even after all the discounts I culd find it's $125 for 15 sheets of 20 stamps. NO WAY! Defeats the purpose of saving money with DIY. So, I'm going to do the photo stickers. $4.99 for a sheet of $20 is way easier to swallow!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
