Only in Hawaii, and I'm not sure BB&B cards are "official" origami size. All I'm saying is if you want origami doves at my wedding, we're buying the real paper! You're making me nervous that DIY-itis is spreading across the web!

Too late, I've already folded you 100 oragami doves. Your mom asked me to. They are being fedexed to you right now. The best part is they have my registry info so maybe your guests will get me presents. Well, tell them I prefer cash :)

My friend recently made 1000 oragami cranes. If you fold 1000 you get to make a wish. He made them from magazine pages that he cut into squares. I donated a lot of magazines so I got a portion of the cranes. They are flying above my desk at work.

Are you my Tacky Cousin?

So my mom doesn't dress tacky anymore, but she used to love fringe on her clothes. And big metal conchos. Now she just decorates tacky. But it's fun for her. She had one of those light up christmas deer in the living room year round. She finally put it outside when she saw a family of lizards was living in it.

My old place was way too jungly. I had lions everywhere. I toned it down a lot when I moved in with Mike. The lions are now mostly confined to one area (their den).

OK, I had to go get a kleenex to wipe my tears I was laughing so hard. smile120.gif I'm thinking maybe we can hang the doves from the gazebo and have a bird cage nearby for people to stuff the cash into.

That is a perfect solution. We found something to do with those BB&B inserts & a way to get your daughter some money. smile29.gif

Wow, I go to the hospital for a few hours, and you guys just get everything all figured out for me! So is the thread hijack over and we're now back on topic? Wait, nevermind. We will NEVER be on topic around here, what with the doves and cages and money and such.

And by figured out, I mean you are both hopelessly-out-of-control-and-everyone-needs-to-go-to-bed-now-before-I-actually-end-up-with-origami-doves-at-my-wedding!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
