What do you think about my centerpiece??(pic)

Recommended Posts

It's not done yet but you get the idea.

I can't find the third short glass/cylinder. I think It would look a lot better with the third one. Plus I need to find a mirror big enough to fit all of them (each cylinder is about 3.3" in diameter). So Iâ€m thinking of putting three of them with some marbles and shells on the round mirror. And don't you think the white-bluish marbles would look better??

What do you think? Something is definitely missing. Any advice will be appreciated.

(God help me with brining 6 sets of them on the plane dizzy.gif )

Thay're fab ! similar to an idea I've had but I also have the same conserns as you with the travelling issue. What are we going to do ?? What is your luggage allowence ? Regarding the "whats missing question" How about tying some sort of ribbon round the cykinders in your colour scheme maybe although I quite like the simplicity of them, great minds think alike !

I think what you have now will look nice for a night reception. I am thinking the candle light will bounce off the beads and really illuminate. But if its a day reception I would try sand and stick a few extra small shells or starfish within the sand but pushed to the outside so they are visible through the glass vase. But not sure how that would work with water as I am now just realizing there is water in there to hold up the floating candle smile105.gif LOL!

Also to fill the negative space between the shell and the candle can you add ribbon from your wedding colors? Not necessarily a bow, just hot glue a nice irredescent ribbon around it? Or maybe put sand underneath the beads to raise them up a little. Ok I think I need to get off this "sand" kick!

Great idea, very inexpensive! Thanks for sharing. I will definitely keep this idea in mind myself.

I think they look good. I don't think you need a mirror. What if you just put some beads on the table around the cylinders. The color of the beads kind of look like sand. Are your table round, or rectangular? If they are rectangular I would say just put one and scatter them down the middle. Then you probably wouldn't need to bring so many and worry about them breaking in transit.

I have no clue. I think we're going to have to give couple to each of our member of the family. I can't imaging packing them in the suit case..

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
