Dye to make water turquoise

    I don't know why I didn't think of this before, but you could also use blue Kool-Aid. That would definitely be the cheapest option!

      I just use blue food coloring (as much or as little depending on the depth of color you want. It's what we use for our weather barometer here at home and the blue color is perfect!
