To all Royal brides let me know if you are missing any info I probably have it. Just send me your e-mail addresses I am happy to send it on. I think I basically sucked out every piece of information from the WC. Speaking spanish has getting info sooooo much easier so don't hesitate to ask me if anyone needs help.
Hi I would love some info too if you still have it!

Hello again,

Just another side thought as I prepare my wedding invitations and the wedding website (i am not sure if you already talked about this, i haven't read all 188 pages), but does anyone have a "What to Pack" list that I could use for my website?

My invites are almost done! I will send them out next month! I am so excited. around 400 days to go!

I've been playing around with the a la carte options on the real website all morning..hehe definitely having a lazy morning!

I see that there is one option for a beach wedding at the Royal (infront of pelicanos) and there are two options for a beach wedding at the Gran Porto (central and north beach).

Can someone who has done a site visit let me know the pros and cons of each place... especially which one would provide the most privacy!!

Also...how many of you are choosing a beach wedding. It seems that most of the Royal brides around here chose the gazebo. I think the gazebo is beautiful... we both just have our hearts set on a barefoot wedding in the sand! I have a questions about the huppa for the beach...I see that you can pay $500 for huppa with 3 flower medallions... but what if i just want the huppa with some flowing white tulle... is that free?

This is what I have planned:
Friday-Catamaran for all guests (as a 'thank you' for coming)
Saturday-Ceremony-5:00-Gazebo-Reception-beach-DJ Doremixx & Del Sol photographers
Sunday-Find a bar that is playing the Saints game :)
We have about 25 guests coming, so it will be a small, but very lively bunch!

I am soooooo ready!
Hey! there is a great sports bar right on fifth avenue that has tvs everywhere and i sure the Saints game will be on plus beer specials! have so much fun.

Your ceremony is at 5:00 at the Gazebo? I saw on that a la carte link that someone posted that you could only have the ceremony there at 12 or 1 or something. i awnted to have mine around 4:00. So this is good news! I was going to call my wedding planner today to get them to ask about that!

Have a great time!
We got ours for 6pm in the Gazebo. I was wondering about that since I saw 4pm was the latest?? I guess it just depends what you request w/the WC. We really wanted the wedding as close to sunset as possible, and I think I clocked it at 7pm during June in Playa. Kimberly said 6pm is the latest they could do.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
