But, let me just say this: THE WEDDING WAS PERFECT. Our week in Playa was the best week of my life. Everything was phenomenal. Our choice to marry in PDC and at the Royal was the best decision. I will get my professional pics this week. But, I'll try to post a full review ASAP.

istephiez- Sorry to hear about your financial troubles, seems like its happening to everyone we know. Makes it hard to justify a DW not only for yourselves but expecting other people to pay to go. I think a lot of us are in the same boat. I would tell you not to worry and not to be so stressed but you will anyways! If there isn't anything you can do before the wedding then you are going to have to find a way to be ok with it or it'll ruin your trip. I know I haven't been much help but I'm here if you need to vent! :)

First off before that I am so excited that Veronica is back and that she had the best time ever, we have been concerned about the safety so I am excited to learn how if at all if affected your trip. Can't wait to hear specific details!

Now for my venting. I am a freelance tv (reality) producer and I wrapped a show about 6 weeks ago and have been freaking out about money ever since. I finally booked a 5 week job that started yesterday and just now got to feel positive about the upcoming weddding. I am just a stresser when it comes to spending money so that past 6 weeks have been miserable cuz all I do is stress and panic and feel so overwhelmed that the wedding isn't even exciting during the stressing periods. Well I started yesterday and they cancelled the show in the afternoon so now I am again out of work and stressed. TV shows are typically longer gigs and I have missed out on 4 recently because I have to leave in the middle of shooting for the wedding so they couldn't hire me. Now its basically too late to get another show before the wedding so it looks like I am going to be out of work for a minimum of 2 more months!! I know it sounds nice to have the time off but imagine no money for nearly 4 months and it may put you in a panic as well.
I know that the whole world is suffering right now and that my financial worries may be less than so many others but we are spending all of our savings to survive right now and I just can't believe that after all these years of looking forward to this time in my life stress and a horrible economy has hit us over the head and all we can do is fret over how to pay our bills when its time to figure out how I am going to style my hair!! GRRRRRRRRR.
        Hey darlin...
I feel you on the money front! Recently at work, we were forced to take a salary roll-back...NOT the best timing for that to occur! I'm a stresser too...especially when it comes to money...so the last few weeks, I've been kinda moody and emotional! Thank you economy!

Basically...there is nothing I can say to ease your mind...if you're anything like me. Just...take solice in knowing that we are here to support you through all of it, and, you're certainly not alone.

Stay positive..and...even though it stings a bit now, just stay excited about the planning, and...you'll get through it!

Hi Ladies, as our day approaches I am trying to get everything in line and was wondering what you all are doing for a rehersal dinner or if you are even having one?

I was thinking of an outside restaurant, but am curious as to what everyone else has planned!

Thanks so much guys for your support. Its funny because I have been so stressed out and this morning I was like you know what...my friends on the blog might make me feel better and though you didn't solve my problems (shocker :) its nice to have your support.

On a positive note, we got a preview of our engagement pictures today. We are bringing our photographer with us to Mexico so he is going to document the rehearsal dinner, which is at Blue Parrot, the wedding, the trash the dress session the next day as well as photos at the pool and throughout town. He is so great, really captures the moments vs. just posing for pictures.

Hey Girls! Its been a while since i posted...but i have been SUPER busy with wedding stuff!! I leave in 26 days!!! OMG! We still don't have our rings...still don't have the guys outfits (thanks to a slacking FI). Everyone has replied - thank goodness!
We have 38 adults, and 4 kids under 5! (2 of which are 3 months old!)
Just wanted to let everyone know that my new WC is Michelle - i think she works at the Royal is SOOO AWESOME! She gets right back to me (sometimes with in the hour!).
Everyday i email her with a random question and she responds - its totally eased my nerves!
I still have to post my semi-DYI invites tonight - just never got around to it!

Does anyone else have this problem: At my shower i had lots of people give me the guilt trip for having a destination wedding - like "sorry we can't be there - but ya know we have kids, or don't have vacation or don't have the money." OR "why are you having a desitination wedding anyway!" i feel like telling them - "so annoying people like you don't go!!!!!" oh well...i should be used to it but seriously one month away and now I get this?
Does anyone know if they had to provide songs to the DJ? Or did they just have everything already

Veronica - can't wait to read your review!!
**Shannon** 40 people BOOKED! (but only 23 made it b/c of the Swine flu Pandemic )

The DJ's have everything but if you have a list of songs you want them to play just give it to them. Or in some cases if there are songs you don't want them to play!

Wow, 26 days! I wish mine would hurry up and get here!
