Just wanted to say HI! I am a newbie getting married at the Royal Playa del Carmen on Friday, November 30, 2012!  It looks like I have a ton of information on here to read through.  Maybe I can get done reading it all in time for the wedding haha.  Looking forward to communicating with fellow brides! :)

If you go to the next link: You will see the 2 beach location, on the left Pelicanos Beach (Some people there playing Volley Ball)  and to the right the North Beach at Gran Porto Real .

Hello I would like to know what beach location is the best for our wedding ceremony...Either North Beach (Gran Porto) or Pelicanos beach (Royal)? Does anyone have pictures from either beach area? I would prefer the most private beach they have with the Real properties in Playa Del Carmen. My WC just told me Pelicano's is the most private out of their beaches and there's a fee to have our ceremony at Pelicanos beach area if we stay at Gran Porto...Just wondering is the $450 fee worth going that route at Pelicano's? Thanks You all & Congrats to All

                Hey Ladies~

Does anyone know what the rules are as far as bringing favors and stuff for your OOT bags to mexico and going through customs?  Do we just need a receipt to prove that we purchased it?

Just from reading over forums, I've read that many brides split up their OOT items into different luggage. I guess that if you bring more that $300 worth of items in that they will charge you. I've seen many brides that have just split up the items between different family members so they wouldn't be questioned. I've also read that some brides bring their reciepts or make up fake ones to show that the items were not more than $300. Traveling to Mexico you just never know, they may question you, or they may not. I would just be prepared.

I was also assigned to her. She seems friendly and willing to help. Sometimes it does take a day or 2 for her to get back to you. Bit overall very nice and accommodating!
