I still can't remember where it is located, but I can now see that my ideas will fit perfectly in this space. After all my wedding is a small one.

Thanks again, I have tones of question, but want to read little more before i do so i don't ask the same.

I just found this site yesterday, and it will take a while to read the 500+ pages.
Ya it does take a little while to get through all the posts but so worth it once you do :) I just sat down with wine and made a night of it lol

The gazebo is located on the far left side of the resort. When you walk down from the lobby there is a large central garden in between two restaurants. Straight ahead are the pools and than the beach. If you take a left before you get on the beach you walk down and there's the gazebo.

Here are a few pics from our site visit last November

right, i saw walmart when i was down there. thanks! i remember being in the super mega grocery expecting a bounty of beautiful fruit & recall being disappointed!

it all works out in the end... :)

I just got my invitation for the site everyone is talking about. Looks good, like that may have their stuff in order now! Mine doesn't have anything on there, other than a welcome message from Ana. When she sent the link to me she said it is their new system to keep in touch, I'm thinking rather than e-mails. I was just happy enough to see our names and wedding date correct on the top! LOL The MI ladies had my date wrong every time I talked to them!

I only say that because if you plan on them taking any pics during cake cutting, bouquet toss, etc. then you will need to rush it all in the very beginning of the reception or else they will miss it. We faked our cake cutting so we could get some good pics and then did our bouquet toss, etc. early so we wouldn't have to pay for more time. It worked out pretty well.
i agree that you need more time to get it all in. i have thought about this a lot after chatting with photographers. what i did was think about what photos i wanted and what the timeline will be for the wedding. based on that i realized that 2-3 hours isn't enough for me.

I will say though that the very first thing I did was post a thread on there with a copy of all our correspondence so far to make sure that everything previously talked about was documented as well!

              Hope that helps!
oh wow, rebekah did not tell me this. perhaps i will inquire. thanks again ladies!!

So after months of going back and forth on trying to decide on a photographer I FINALLY made my decision and he's now booked. I cannot tell you how upset I am!!! I am now considering Cecilia Dumas, if anyone has any feedback regarding her work it's much appreciated.

JESMCAN, I'd send you the link that I received but it seems that each link is tailored for your own individual profile.

                    Hello,

I leave for my wedding in less than four months! I am getting very excited!

For past brides who bought chair sashes, did you use the same ones from the ceremony for the reception site, or do I need to buy double if i get some?

Also, is using Chiavari chairs an option? Can I use them for both ceremony and reception?

                    Thanks! :)
