lisa, i totally had to google him up...girafexx, is that your wedding picture?
Yes, that is David Tutera with me in the picture. The picture is of the day I bought the dress.

I totally LUCKED OUT!!! The same day that I had an appointment at the bridal store he had a trunk show going on as well. He is the designer of the my dress and he helped me pick it out. He was so nice in person and HONEST. I appreciated his honesty the most. When he saw me in some of the dresses I tried on, he was like "Oh no, definitely not, take it off". It was such a wonderful experience!

Whew, I've missed a lot over the past few days. Here goes...

Awesome! Lucky you!!! Can't wait to hear your review from your visit & thanks in advance! cheesy.gif

That looks fantastic!! So pretty! Where did you order the flowers from? I've been researching bc my mom & I are planning on making mine, too. I've been searching for turquoise and yellow. Did they have hair flowers, too?

I actually got these from Michael's and they did have yellow, but not turquoise. They are REALLY heavy, though, and the bouquet is wide. It is hard to carry. I'm thinking of using these as centerpieces and just doing something else for a bouquet.

Ohhhh good, glad to hear that! I guess I'll give her until tomorrow :). She has been very prompt, that's what made me ask. Thanks!

I am sorry you are having so much trouble. I feel for ya. Unfortunatly the wc in question was very helpful and nice at first but ended up making a pretty significant mistake with my wedding time. My advice for everyone is dont trust that they have actually read your emails even if they have responded with confirmations or yes's. Contracts may be incorrect even if you have it in your hands and have confirmed times etc. The best solution is to call and have them verbally confirm as well as in writing i think, but really there is no 100% as far as I can tell.

Its all very odd business too me...

I still have faith the resort wc and the wedding itself will be wonderful though! Thanks to this site!! :)

I am also still waiting to hear back from the onsite coordinator Lili. Has anyone worked with her yet?

I will have her as my WC for my wedding. They're supposed to contact you two weeks before your wedding.

Ok thank you!! I'll go check them out! I was planning on just using the candle they provide so if not a bouquet a centerpiece would def work.

If you go to Michael's at the right time they are 50% off. Originally they are 2.99 a piece. For the whole thing I think I ended up paying 30$ after ribbon and pins and stuff

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
