To be honest, I never even thought about what happened with the vases after the wedding. The staff delivered all of the wedding flowers to our room, and we gave away centerpieces to other couple staying near us, lol.

Maybe ask Marvin his thoughts?

We used Flores Riviera Maya and were so happy with the results!

I had family members meet them at the front of the hotel to pick up the centerpieces. Vendor fee avoided :)

We tipped the florist when they dropped off the flowers, the wait staff prior to the reception, then our wedding coordinator and DJ at the end of the night. I had envelopes for everyone ready to go before we left for Mexico :)

Here they are:

The template is super simple.

Heres how to make:

Print off Word

Use a razor blade to cut a line down the middle (enough to fit a dollar but still leaving the edges attached)

Glue just the outside edges to a slightly larger piece of cardstock (so the money can slide in between the two)

Glue on any accessories (I chose our theme- a punch-out starfish from the same coral cardstock)

I didn't even think about tipping the staff! Def. something I put on my to-do list. Those look great! I just MADE my boarding pass invitations and luggage RSVP cards. I was going to buy it off ETSY but they were charging me $500.00 for 60 invitations. So I spent my weekend slaving away :)

I just got back from my wedding last night. I used Flores Riviera Maya as well for the bridesmaid bouquets and they were beautiful and matched my bouquet perfectly! My moh met them out front and so we did not pay a vendor fee. I took tall galvanized pails to keep the, in before the ceremony in and to put them in on the tables during the reception. It worked perfectly and was beautiful.

I tipped the service staff at the reception $100 because they were phenomenal and deserved it. Tipped the coordinator $50 because she did great as well.

HI! Question for 2013 Ala Carte brides.  Has anyone experienced them asking for you to pay a 450.00 rental fee for the Gazebo?  My wedding is 9/1/13 and I got a message stating it was going to be 450.00 to rent the Gazebo.  This is not on the website nor in my contract I signed, it just said I would pay 30 pp for food and then any other options I would like to add.  PLEASE HELP!!!  Any suggestions?!?!  I asked several times if there was any additional fees and was told there was not, what should I do?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
