ROYAL PLAYA DEL CARMEN BRIDES: were kids allowed for the day? ...and other questions

Recommended Posts

We are having our ceremony and reception at the beach in front of pelicanos at 430. We didn't have any other option, but as long as I am getting married on a beach, I will be a happy girl!

Also, booked our photographer this morning! I know its super early but I didn't want to run into the same dilemma with the photographer I wanted being booked already. We went with Photos In Cancun. I love their work and their in my budget. I got quotes from about 10 different photographers, so if anyone is looking for a photographer and needs a better idea of prices, PM me and Ill be happy to share them with you.

That's perfect! We also didn't have a choice where on the beach.  We choose the gazebo for our reception so Maritza said we had to have the ceremony on the beach in front of gazebo. I think I originally asked for the beach area in front of pelicanos too as I heard it is supposed to be more private. Exciting!!

Hola!

Greetings from Mexico! I'm a Mrs.! I just wanted to pop on during our honeymoon to tell you all that our wedding was absolutely perfect! I sat down with Lilia for about a half hour the day after I arrived, and every little detail was executed to perfection... The weather was another issue, but I have learned that I cannot control that :)

I will post a full review once I return from my honeymoon and my reception with my family in Chicago... Just rest assured that The Royal is an amazing place to get married, and your wedding WILL be perfect!

I've attached a teaser pic from my photographer!

Hi guys!

For those of you that have already had your weddings (congrats!) what entrees did you choose and do you have any photos of them?  I'm thinking of choosing the beef fillet w/ Dijon mustard and Provencal herbs and the chicken Casablanca stuffed with seafood.  We're definitely going to have the beef as an option, but I'm only 50% sure we should go with the chicken.  I kind of just feel like you need to have a chicken option...

I have to make the decision asap since I'm working on the proof for my invites!

That was our exact menu. The guests LOVED both entrees. I ate the beef and loved it, and I'm honestly not even really a red meat eater. I don't think I have any pictures, but I'll look around.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
