JoZee -

I love love love that last pic of you two!!! Beautiful. It's the one where you're at the cenote sitting on the rocks but half in the water. Gorgeous shot. Blue lens did a fantastic job. I wish we had more outside shots but it was so windy that Friday that it didn't make sense and then inside was so dark and had a million people roaming around. LOL...

I can't believe you were literally two doors down and never once ran into you except at Spice! How funny is that?

Did you have your AHR yet? I'm dying to see your traditional dress. =)

Jennifer,

I think you and your hubby met my hubby, we are just 2 rooms away from yours!

Girls,

I am officially a Mrs.  The weather was a bit stressful last night, me and Zulma had a misunderstanding...and we ended up to move the WHOLE reception from the beach to the timeshare room at the last last minute.  It didn't rain, I should have listen to her, and I would ve got my dream beach wedding reception...oh well. better be safe then be sorry!

I just went to take underwater TTD with Ivan Luckie, and men..I never seen that many muzzies before!!! I was eaten alive!

I will post my planning thread (belated), and the review a bit later!

ok..time to catch some sun!

Thanks for the photographer tips Jenn and Janna!  I am hoping to keep us as close to the Royal as possible.

JoZee and Janna - Love love your pictures!  They are all so pretty and they keep me looking foward to getting there!  Two weeks from today we'll be arriving in Mexico and meeting with our onsite WC!!

Janna - I wasn't able to view your pictures.  It just takes me to the homepage of FB...

Denielle - I am using Marvin for flowers, but I am still having the Royal make an "extra" bouquet for me since it's included in the package.  I'll use the one from the Royal for the bouquet toss.

I got my welcome dinner switched from the Gran Porto to Asiana's at the Royal!  WOO to the HOO!!  Just need to look over the menu tonight with FI and pick a 3 entree course for everyone.  Not sure why people can't order what they want individually, but at this point I just need to stop making changes and get my welcome letters finished!!!

Congrats Bonnie!!  Enjoy the rest of your stay!! :)

Hey Bonnie!! Congrats on being a Mrs!!! How does it feel now that it's official?

So sorry to hear about the last minute switch. I'm sure it was still beautiful. Did you get to have the ceremony outside? I know you worked so hard on those butterfly decorations for the gazebo.

Heidi!

Working on uploading the pics to my profile on here as we speak. Hopefully that will work much better. Will post link once done. =)

My wedding coordinator said they couldn't have a large crowd ordering off the menu bc the restaurant may not have that much food in stock of the same entree. Anyway, at least you'll get to enjoy the atmosphere. I'll post pics from my rehearsal dinner there. I am glad we paid for the service bc it can be a little slow at Asiana. We went on another night with our parents and it took a long time to get water and food.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
