i'm leaving in the morning!! crazy!! i'm actually just starting to get nervous...and not about the wedding...more about getting people there and liking the resort etc :) we have a party bus picking us up at 7am (there are 25 of us on the first flight, and 17 of them are taking this bus - easier and cheaper then cabs/leaving cars etc at the airport).  but im sure i'll check in sometime and definitely give a big review when i'm back! i can't believe it's here!! i'll be there the 6th-13th, getting married the 11th with 60 guests. i'll let you know how it goes! adios! :)

Sorry ladies I have been so MIA and don't even have a chance to catch up on what I have missed lol its down to the wire and just lots to do still :)

 

Randi see you there!!!! we arrive Sunday

 

OMG ladies can't believe the time is here. Planning thread coming tomorrow and I will be sure to post on here when it is up :)

Ladies, I know I don't get on here too often, but I am just doing a lot of reading and trying to keep up/catch up at the same time! So good luck to those with upcoming weddings. Wish you all the best.

 

So here's a little about me and my wedding and how its coming along....

June 3, 2011 is the date (I will add it to the list)

As of right now (I keep changing it,lol) We have Pelicanos beach for the ceremony and coctail hour, and Central Gardens for the Reception.

I am still debating the location of the coctail...can't decide whether to have it on the beach or the gardens?? Past brides, any suggestions??

 

We have booked DJ Doremix for our reception and Moments That Matter for photography.

I bought my dress way back in Feb so that's checked off the list msnwink.gif

Still haven't picked bridesmaid dresses..anyone have any suggestions?? I don't want them to spend a fortune on them since they are already shelling out money to go to the wedding.

 

Our Save The Dates were sent out in Sept and our invites are in the works as we speak! (Hoping to send them out this Month)

Just want to say thanks to everyone so far for all the inspirations and ideas! I plan to be on here a lot more often since the wedding is only 7 months away now, yikes!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
