ROYAL PLAYA DEL CARMEN BRIDES: were kids allowed for the day? ...and other questions

Recommended Posts

also, i have been having trouble getting all my RSVPs so i asked my WC if i can add people after i submit my final list & make payment & she said that was fine.  so if it's 2 or 3 people i don't think you will have an issue.  you will just have to pay for them when you add them.  if you have an issue with this, check with your WC about this.

good luck & happy wedding!!

Super annoying...they sent in their RSVPs declining but called me last week to tell me that they are trying to figure out if they can come but I still don't have a final answer from them.

Hi Ladies - I got some info from my TA concerning the day pass pricing for Gran Porto guests to hang out at the Royal outside of the wedding day.  Thought it would be good to share or let me know if anyone has gotten different costs...as it seems that this happens often with the Royal.

"If you stay at the Gran Porto in a Gran jr Ste Bcft w/o room or higher there is no charge to play at the Royal.  The day passes are:  12pm - 5pm    $60.00,   9am - 5pm   $85.00,    9am - 11pm  $145.00"

(I am assuming that w/o means walk out..)

I am just concerned because some of my guests will be at the Gran Porto and others at the Royal.  I am wondering if I am supposseed to split my time between resorts to avoid some guests having to pay for day passes.

What is everyone else doing?

I haven't figured out how to edit a post once I click submit, but I meant to add a thanks to jesmcan!  As soon as I got your info I went back to my TA.  I told her before I that I am on BDW forum. Now that she knows I can verify her information, hopefully she'll be more accurate...Lol!!!

Hi ladies, I am trying to find the price list for the spa, I know I have seen it on here somewhere.  I am really looking for the price for having your hair highlighted.  Has anyone had it done there?

thanks

I wouldn't wait until the week of you wedding to do highlights. I got highlights done a couple weeks ago and I'm still trying to "undo" what the hairdresser did. Ugh!  And luckily my wedding isn't until the end of October. Definitely give yourself enough time to fix your hair in case something goes wrong.

I would have to agree. It's better to go to your usual stylist for that type of stuff, then just have the spa do your hair. I'm sure everything would turn out fine, but I don't think it's worth the risk. Go to someone you know will do a good job, and exactly what you want.

Congrats on booking your wedding!! I'm actually getting married on the 16th of June. Are you doing the Luxury Package? The WC I'm working with is Andrea - is this your same WC? I just started working with her. So far so good.

girafexx - sorry was late in getting back on here but ya 60 days before. I just want to get everything in in case there are discrepancy's and I night to fight before I pay the final bill lol

ya on the high lights sorry I forgot to quote, I would not chance it either. I would do it before you go

Here is the number for Spazul The phone number is when calling from the US 011 52 984 877 29 00 and the spa is extension 4058. The fax number is 011 52 984 877 29 99.

Unfortunately I don't think there is a 1800 number to call them.
