PAPER WORK: for civil legal ceremonies your wedding coordinator would give you paper work to fill out which is basically information for you and your fiance and witnesses (relatives can be witnesses and they need to be over 1cool.gif. You have to notarize your long version of your birth certificates (with a notary) and get them translated by a Mexican consulate plus photocopies of the 1st 2 pages of your 6 passports (you 2 plus the 4 witnesses) and of the tourist cards (that you get entering Mexico.

Hope his helps.
What the censored.gif? So confused, can someone help? I understood that if you hadn't been married before then all you needed was your passports, witnesses and tourist card, NO notarization. Does anyone know?

that is right...that is what my wedding coordinator told me. Only people who were married before or widowed would need all that information.

As for the 3 day guest pass thing, I asked Angie from Condoworld about it and she said she'd never heard of it? Did you all hear that from your WC or the hotel? I really hope I can get those for some of my guests! Are you all talking to an actual WC at The Royal or condoworld still? I asked Angie to transfer me over to my WC and she said I only get to start delaing with her a month before my weddinghuh.gif

Kimmy that is total BS! I started with Angie and my TA and I wanted to choke her so my TA called Zulma directly and I have been working with her ever since! ANd that was 15 months before my wedding! So don't listen to her! wink.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
