Brides who will be getting married legally in Mexico:

I was confused with all the legal requirements so I asked Kimberly for some clarification.

She said if the couple are single then they only need passports and don't need any other kind documentation except the tourist visa and blood work done at the hotel.

If the couple are divorced, widowed and etc, then they need more documents like a birth certificate.

Hope this helps!

I'm wondering if Funever has a bunch of photographers. I am going with Claudia Rodriguez but I saw pictures on Funever's website and they seem nice. I am just trying to decide if I should save money and go with Funever since I won't have to pay $200 in vendor fees and have Claudia and her team as guests for reception and go with Claudia for my TTD.
Whoa, there are Four other weddings that day! I am actually the one at 6pm.. hope its not a problem, but thats a lot of weddings, where are you having yours?? how can they accomodate all those weddings?

I can't remember if she said if there are reserved 4 weddings on that day but that is what she said...she said there are usually 4 weddings a day but maybe we are only ones that are having our wedding on the same day. We are having our ceremony at the beach then cocktail/reception at the garden. I had wanted the gazebo for the cocktail but it was already reserved. I guess it is you! :) Where are you having yours?

Hello everyone!

I just had a quick question about bachelorette parties. I am going to have mine a couple days before the wedding while we are in Mexico. Has anyone done this or is anyone planning on doing this? I was just wondering what 5th avenue has to offer for clubs, etc.

P.S. 10 people have booked today!! cheesy.gif

Thanks!

Hi,

I am doing the same :) I have been to Playa many times and it is the perfect place for a bachelorette party!! In the past for $60 per person all you can drink they give you a bracelet and you can go from place to place. You get to go VIP style :) it is a lot of fun. They offer a list, I know Senor Frogs, Zenzi, Mammitas, are on there.

Hey royal brides...

I thought i should introduce myself -since i've been stalking this thread like crazy!

I'm 99% sold on having a royal/gran porto wedding!! We would stay at the Royal and have the wedding there. Beach ceremony!! Not sure about the reception yet. I love the option of giving guests the choice of the less expensive gran porto resort too!

Unfortunately, I'm a long way from setting a date...I'm hoping for April 2011 (however we may have to wait even longer, depending on FI's work! boo!)

All your posts and reviews have been super helpful! I'm also excited to find out how the a la carte weddings will pan out!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
