Another question to all the brides who have booked and confirmed their dates w/ Royal PDC...did you pay a deposit? I've read in the earlier posts that there was no deposit required to confirm the date, but I thought it was a little weird. I just got an email from Angie, my WC, and she is quoting me $200 deposit which will be credited toward my wedding. Who are you ladies working with? Has anyone heard of Angie and her work? She has been very pleasant with email exchanges so far.

BTW..I love this forum.

Angie works for Villa World, which is affiliated with The Royal. I worked with her and Doreen when booking my wedding. I also paid a $300 deposit which was put towards whichever package I chose. Once you pay your deposit and pick a date, Angie should provide you with the name and email address of your Wedding Coordinator at the Royal.

Ah yes, I was banned because I donated some points to someone in an incorrect way...it was totally a boo boo on my part...unintentional, but I didn't read the fine print so I had to do the time!

While I was gone I re booked my wedding for the 6th, but then air transat canceled their july 3rd flights and was flying everyone in on the 4th which didn't give my witnesses enough time in mex...so I had to push it back AGAIN to the 8th...I am hoping and praying it goes off this time!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
