ROYAL PLAYA DEL CARMEN BRIDES: were kids allowed for the day? ...and other questions

Recommended Posts

We did our own invitations too...and they turned out better than a lot of the stuff we were looking at onine...and half the price! Can't beat that. I think you should compromise on this one too. I know guys don't think it is a big deal, but I'm sure it is important to your FI.

We are leaving in 2 weeks and I still haven't heard anything from Zulma....I am freaking out here!!!!

Hey Everyone!

We're back! We got back late Tuesday, and I had huge sales presentation on Thurs & Friday. (I'm still exhausted and trying to catch up with work.) So, I haven't had time to post yet. But, let me just say this: THE WEDDING WAS PERFECT. Our week in Playa was the best week of my life. Everything was phenomenal. Our choice to marry in PDC and at the Royal was the best decision. I will get my professional pics this week. But, I'll try to post a full review ASAP.

xoxo,

Veronica

Just need to vent....

First off before that I am so excited that Veronica is back and that she had the best time ever, we have been concerned about the safety so I am excited to learn how if at all if affected your trip. Can't wait to hear specific details!

Now for my venting. I am a freelance tv (reality) producer and I wrapped a show about 6 weeks ago and have been freaking out about money ever since. I finally booked a 5 week job that started yesterday and just now got to feel positive about the upcoming weddding. I am just a stresser when it comes to spending money so that past 6 weeks have been miserable cuz all I do is stress and panic and feel so overwhelmed that the wedding isn't even exciting during the stressing periods. Well I started yesterday and they cancelled the show in the afternoon so now I am again out of work and stressed. TV shows are typically longer gigs and I have missed out on 4 recently because I have to leave in the middle of shooting for the wedding so they couldn't hire me. Now its basically too late to get another show before the wedding so it looks like I am going to be out of work for a minimum of 2 more months!! I know it sounds nice to have the time off but imagine no money for nearly 4 months and it may put you in a panic as well.

I know that the whole world is suffering right now and that my financial worries may be less than so many others but we are spending all of our savings to survive right now and I just can't believe that after all these years of looking forward to this time in my life stress and a horrible economy has hit us over the head and all we can do is fret over how to pay our bills when its time to figure out how I am going to style my hair!! GRRRRRRRRR.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
