ROYAL PLAYA DEL CARMEN BRIDES: were kids allowed for the day? ...and other questions

Recommended Posts

I know I am being a mooch but do any of you have wedding websites that I can look at for inspiration? I know there are threads on here about websites but I'd like to view ones for brides that are using our resort or staying in the same area.

Also, anyone have templates for STD cards that are not boarding passes? and Templates for a monogram? I am so retarded when it comes to this stuff, it's amazing that I even get though the day!

Thanks!

Sorry darlin, my STDs were the boarding pass/airline ticket things...I'll attach pictures anyway, in case you want help doing those afterall. I also used a friends Royal brochure he had brought back from his trip there last March. I reproduced it in photoshop, and printed it as an inclusion to the STD.

Ours turned out really well in my humble opinion.

To everyone who wants to do bording pass save the dates or invitations themselves, I found this site that has instructions as well as templates. They look super easy and a lot of fun. I do like the idea of putting them on magnetic strips to use them as magnets as well.

Figured I'd post in case anyone wants to give it a shot themselves!!

Tati - I have not gotten a chance to tell you- you are so adorable! Loved your engagement pictures on your website! Thank you for sharing it with me! How many guests are you having? I noticed you mentioned a dinner at spice after the ceremony...

Also, I was wondering who everyone is using for photo and video? I am trying to decide on a photographer. I really really want to use Elizabeth Medina (just can't afford her) so now I'm looking at Claudia Rodriguez or Moments that Matter. Was looking at Cecilia Dumas too but I can't find full shoots for her and I don't want to go off the "samples" on the website because those are always the best shots. I am trying to find more pictures from Moments that matter though, can't decide for sure with what is on their website. They do have pretty sweet packages though..

Aww! Thanks! FI and I are complete geeks, so it was fun taking the pics! I would've put more, but it took FOREVER for them to upload! About the Spice dinner, that was when I thought that only our families were coming (A total of MAYBE 10 people). But now, the count is around 25-30, so we've decided to do a beach front reception- I'm so EXITED!

Wedquarters was really easy to use and pretty inexpensive, so I'd definitely recommend them!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
