I don't think my OOT bags needed nearly as much crap as I brought down there.

I used Marvin for my flowers and they ended up beautiful.

Another tip.... USE FALSE EYELASHES. My girlfriend put about 10 individual lashes on each eye and they make a HUGE difference in pictures. I normally have long lashes but all lashes almost disapear in pictures.

Even if you don't think you would ever wear them....definately wear them for your wedding. :-)

I agree, absolutely stunning!!! Question about the eyelashes..... if you get your makeup done there, can you buy the eyelashes from them and have them put them on? I would be totally lost trying to buy false eyelashes and I don't think I would know anyone who could help me.....?

You can just go to a drugstore and buy revlon brand false lashes.  My girlfriend is a makeup/hairstylist and thats what she suggested. Believe me though, I went into our local CVS and bought every type they had available.

I am sure if you bring the glue and lashes they could do it for you no problem. They might charge you extra though because they do like to get every penny out of you.

If you are okay at doing makeup maybe just practice and do it yourself? I watched a bunch of youtube videos on makeup application and just did it myself. I think it turned out okay! If you think you will be nervous to do it on your own then have them do it for you.

I had my hair done at the spazul.

I followed this girls tutorial a million times because I loved her bridal look.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
