ROYAL PLAYA DEL CARMEN BRIDES: were kids allowed for the day? ...and other questions

Recommended Posts

Hmmm ok My favors were def more than $300 dollars. I will have them in 3 separate bags though, hopefully I can have different people carry them through customs and it won't be a problem ?

I've seen many brides that have just split up the items between different family members so they wouldn't be questioned. I've also read that some brides bring their reciepts or make up fake ones to show that the items were not more than $300. Traveling to Mexico you just never know, they may question you, or they may not. I would just be prepared.

Morning brides!

We leave Monday for our wedding next Friday - so crazy how fast it came!

Quick question - do you guys plan on tipping? If so, who do you plan on tipping and how much?

Thanks!

Denielle

Congratulations! I have been thinking about tipping as well... I would be interested to get other people's opinions. I will not have a DJ or anything, but we would probably like to tip our servers for the wedding. I'm kind of clueless as to who else I might tip.

I am really excited about my soon to be hubby's wedding gift! I had a boudoir shoot that came out awesome, and I took one of the pictures and had it made into a 6 piece puzzle. It just arrived today, and it's amazing! I used a body shot that doesn't include my face, so it's going to be a total mystery for him when he's putting it together! I'm going to give him one piece a day leading up to the wedding. I think that even when he finishes the puzzle, he's not going to fully understand what it means until he gets the book... I can't wait for him to see!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
