Congrats!!!

So ladies, I'm less than 3 weeks away from leaving for Mexico! We did our bachelor & bachelorette party Friday night and my bridal shower was Sunday. I'm done all of my wedding projects, and started a "needs to come with us to Mexico" pile in my dining room, lol. Ana also put me in touch with my on-site wedding coordinator, Lili, and we set up a day and time to meet once we arrive. I'm going to start making a list of everything I want to convey to her. :)

I'm looking into booking this resort, I have a couple questions for the Brides who have already been:

1. was the beach ceremony right next to sunbathers? The WC I have been talking to has given me the impression is, hopefully a miscommunication, I would rather not get married right next to someone in a sunbed right beside the aisle.

2. Does anyone know the menu? I have been told I need to pay a deposit before I can see it :(

Thanks and Congrats everyone

I highly recommend it if you are planning your wedding during peak season...I originally did not, was assured all would be fine, and then the hotel sold out....7 months before our wedding.  My TA managed to find us some rooms, and we also had some next door, then we got to negotiate with The Royal about day passes, etc...save your self the headache and set it up now!  I used Wendy Hicks with Wright Travel, and she was an absolute joy to work with!  Thay also had a significantly lower deposit amount than other TA's I looked into...like less than HALF of what I was quoted by other Co's....

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
