Love the fun pics!! Even though you had it inside, it turned out beautifully. What a gorgeous dress!! Love the lace at the bottom. Cute flower hair!

Thx JHarris,

I am so happy that our guests had a good time and really found my wedding a bit different than others'.  I always aim at uniqueness of everything, and refused to have smth too common.

I got the hair flower from Forever XXI for $7.  The veil was my something borrowed, I borrowed it from a very good friend who got married last year.  I splurged on my shoes (my soft spot), but tried to save on other things, like centrepiece, STD, Invites, favor, veil, dress, hairpiece, placecards...

Hey girls!!!

I had my wedding on 7/11.   It was wonderful.   There are 3 people that I would HIGHLY recommend:

1.  Adrian for makeup (through Styling Trio) - he plays up your features and is truly an artist.   He made me feel beautiful

2.  Christian for hair - he did exactly what I wanted, which was a fuse of two different pictures.  I loved that he was a perfectionist and took his time.

3.  Ivan from DJ Doremixx - WOW.   I heard that he was really good, but honestly, he is THE BEST.   He made the wedding.   Because of him, we extended our reception 2 hours.   Everyone loved him!

For the brides who've already gotten married and done a private reception...

How long was it from when the reception started until the partying started? I'm trying to plan my videographer coverage. I want to make sure cake cutting is included in my coverage, but I'm having a hard time figuring out the timeline.

Thanks!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
