hey, what are you doing for that? I just started to look into some type of flowers/neiman marcus butterfly garland for the gazebo.

I've been working with Wendy Hicks, whom I found on this site.  She helped me with my site visit and is helping my coordinate the group reservation.  She's been great!

Thanks for the TA advice, ladies! Do any of you know a good travel agent who is familiar with the resort? Also, if I go with a TA then do I still have the option to book through the resort? I want my guests to be able to book through a TA, through the resort, or on their own online.

Ladies, I have a quick question about menu choices.  When we went down a few weeks ago for our site visit, we had our menu tasting.  I asked Zulma whether we coul give people options (I couldn't decide betwen the red snapper or beef) and she said we could only pick one option.

The only other allowable "option" would be the vegetarian option.

From reading some of the reviews, it sounds like people were able to offer their guests a choice?

I think you can - you just have the added responsibility of making sure the waiters know who gets what. past brides have used colored place cards or little stickers to distinguish.

Thanks ladies!!

99% percent of my wedding is inside, if it rained it would just be the ceremony moved inside. I'm just concerned with guests arriving in during bad weather or may be stuck somewhere else bc of it. Hopefully it won't be too bad. We'll see.

I just love DYI project time!! lol... Last night I put together 6 paper chinese lanterns. it's a light sky blue with two kinds of ribbons (light yellow and sheer gold)  tied in a bow at the top and long tails so it blows in the wind.

Today I have to cut-out seashell shaped tags to go around the maracas. Everyone gets one and it says Shake at and for a Kiss!

I finally found a TTD dress. Went into David's Bridal and found one on sale and got an extra discount too!! WOOT!!

Rosie - Loved your review!!! It looked like you guys had an amazing time!! I love the chineset torture!!! Those pics were hilarious!

I think you should be able to pick the different menu choices but it may depend on the WC that you have. For some crazy reason - we all get different answers. LOL...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
