ROYAL PLAYA DEL CARMEN BRIDES: were kids allowed for the day? ...and other questions

GC2008 - That's so true.  In a meeting with our pastor he joked that if 5% of people leave Disney World unhappy, there is no way that you can please everyone at your wedding.  Disney Worlds purpose is to bring joy to people!  Haha, so true!  Just do your best and let it go!

I have a question for you ladies. I just got an e-mail from my wedding coordinator saying my second payment for the wedding was due last Friday and is past due and is supposed to be paid 4 months before the wedding "like the wedding contract states"... This is the first I've heard of it.. so I quickly searched all of the paperwork I have on the wedding stuff and I couldn't find anything about a second payment 4 months before... just 45 days and 30 days... ?? I'm fine with paying whatever I need, but this is the first I've heard and it and I don't even know how much I have to pay?? Do any of you know about this?  So confused!!

My coordinator emailed me back and said a $300 deposit is due 4 months before the wedding, I was able to pay it online. In my contract it doesn't say that, but I booked in the beginning of this year, so maybe since then they have changed the policies or whatever! I looked on the Royal's Wedding page under FAQ and it says it in there, so FYI for anybody who didn't know! :) lol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
