So what does the "Free package" include?  I may look into this option if the free package has what we need...

I think it has to be one of the Master Sutes.  We're staying in a Oceanfront Master Suite for 8 ngihts so decided to take the Free Package instead of doing the Luxury as planned, it's actually turning out slightly cheaper for us so far.

Thanks!  So then are you guys adding whatever else you'd like (private reception, cocktail reception, etc.) a la carte?  So many options!!  I thought I had everything figured out, but now I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed...

Hi 101010!  I'll be getting married 10-30-10 :)  I just ordered all this yesterday, I can't wait to get them in!

Here is what I'm doing for my bags...

Jute Bags -  http://www.discountmugs.com/nc/tote-bags/2014/jute-bag-with-rope-handle.htm

Travel Tumblers - http://www.discountmugs.com/nc/travel-mugs/66/16oz-stainless-steel-insulated-travel-mugs.htm

Margarita Mix - http://www.weddingfavorsunlimited.com/blended_with_love_-_swaying_palm_trees_drink_mix.html

Playing Cards - http://www.weddingfavorsunlimited.com/Custom_Theme_Playing_Card_Favors.html

I also ordered Advil, Alka Seltzer, Purell Wipes and Chapstick from Amazon.com...they have good prices for the sample size packs.

I'm also going to make a brochure from Vistaprint to put in each bag.  I'm going to give 1 bag per person...there are about half singles/half couples so I thought it would be easier for everyone to have their own bag.

Yes, we have two spreadsheets one for Luxury Pkg one for Free, I took whatever we "needed" from the Luxury and added to Free Pkg, I'm also getting some things that I wanted such as outside hair/makeup and it's still slightly cheaper.   Yippee!  I'm hoping I didn't miss anything :).

I used these medium bags (they arrived yesterday) and I am alternating tissue paper with our two colors of turquoise and lime green:

Good to know! We had a spreadsheet comparing the Luxury & Classic w/ extras already and after all the talk on here about the free package started comparing that as well! So far it looks pretty good!

Also, I leave tomorrow for my site visit!! SOOO excited! I will definitely be sure to take lots of pictures and try and see how the new transition is going down there these days!

Anyone getting married in the upcoming week?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
