Dear Future Wagner,

 

Can I ask what made you do the switch?  We were considering The Royal Cancun also and still have a site visit scheduled for there and The Royal PDC over Labor Day Weekend.  We already put our deposit down for PDC, though. I am just too curious to see the Cancun chapel!  PM me if you think of anything you want me to ask or photograph over Labor Day, though I know thats not too soon.

 

Also, Wendy from the BDW travel agency just emailed me and she specializes in the Riviera Maya.  I believe she's headed over there this week and would be a great TA to get involved if you haven't found one already.  She could probably relieve a ton of your stress..  Best of luck!

Welcome orange_peel and any other new ladies I missed. I'm so excited to "see" all the new faces :-).

 

I can't remember who previously mentioned that they aren't doing the hot canapes anymore, but I emailed Elsa a few times about this and she hasn't answered yet. The first time she answered all my questions EXCEPT for that one, so I don't know if that means they are trying to make a decision on that or what. I would really like to know, however, because I want to order menu cards asap.

I was married at the Gran and we all stayed there. My maid of honor and I got our hair and I got my make up done at the Royal's spa.  The spa is literally right across the street from the Gran Porto Real.  We walked through the wedding center to get to the spa.  We had no problems accessing it.  You will be fine.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
