ROYAL PLAYA DEL CARMEN BRIDES: were kids allowed for the day? ...and other questions

Recommended Posts

RunningBride24 you are so sweet! thank you so much :) and I happy to hear all flights are booked woooo hoooo

Yes the tourist visa you will get on the plane. You do not need your birth certificates just your passports and the tourist visa as long as this si the first time you are both getting married :).

Which by the way ladies I know this seems silly but bring lots of pens on the plane ahah or make sure to grab them. Every time we forget and every time we ahve to wait to borrow one to fill out the tourist card. You get it right when you get off the plane.

I've seen a lot about bringing in an outside vendor, which I've looked into a little, but budgetwise it would be nice to just go with the resort photog.....but I love everyone's amazing pics. Decisions, decisions! Has anyone heard abt the quality of their work? Thanks!
Hi Meghan! I'm going to be using the resort photographers. I saw a big book of their photos while on my site visit and they are pretty good. I LOVE the work by some other photographers (especially Elizabeth Medina)...but the good ones are out of my budget...plus the outside vendor fee is a killer. I just can't see spending tons of money on photos when I would rather spend it on other things. I'm also going with the DJ from the hotel...which happens to be Dorremix, yay!!

in regards to the vendor fee...does anyone know if that fee applies per vendor or per person that the vendor brings in.

for example if you are using an outside photographer and they bring an assistant would you have to pay a vendor fee for both people or just one fee per vendor?

thanks ladies!

Hi Lisa,

Sorry for the delayed response but that was our pic of Alison & Kevin's Catamaya cruise with the matching shirts. They had the t-shirts made here and gave them to everyone in their bags. :) I am not sure where Alison had them done but I can ask her if you would like. Zazzle does a great job with t's.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
