Yes, I received the basecamp email last week and was assigned a new wedding coordinator about 3 weeks ago.

Kendra, you look amazing!!

Girls having legal ceremonies, are you getting an "Apostille"? I'm way confused with this stuff and was curious of anyone who has already done it......

It is a bit confusing. FI thought maybe it was just necessary if you have been married before

If you guys never been married then you don't need Apostille. A passport and tourist visa will do it.

thanks! :) i made my hairpiece out of 3 different pieces..i bought the black feathers and teh white feathers from hobby lobby and the pearl/diamond piece was on a comb thing from forever 21! i wired the blk/white feathers together.. then unwired the pearl piece off of the comb and then wired it onto the feathers. it took a little bit, but i was sooooo happy with it in the end...i liked it so much more than any of them i saw for sale. my jewelry i got from a little store here in lubbock, tx called accessory touch. it was pretty cheap!

Hi Ladies!

I am almost ready to book my wedding at the Gran Porto Real and am trying to get through this whole thread! Does anyone know if there is a resort bar with music/dancing that stays open late at the Gran? I love having 5th Ave right there with all of the nightlife, but don't want our guests to have to pay more money to go out when they already paid for an all-inclusive. I read about the 24-hour sports bar, but I don't think that's the atmosphere we're looking for. D those that went down for a site visit or past brides have any insight?

Hi keng welcome and congrats on getting ready to book. Unfortunately all the bars except for the 24 hour one's close at 12am.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
