Hi everyone! I'm a newbie to this web site and am so excited to read all of the posts! We're getting married on September 17, 2010 and I have a few questions for anyone who has already gotten married there.

1. Has anyone used the hair and makeup people at Spazul? Were they good? Did you bring your own makeup or use what they had?

2. Has anyone used the Real Official Photographer - Funever Photos? Did they do a good job?

3. We're at a loss as to what to include in the welcome bags. We are thinking about creating a specail wedding logo to put on visors and playing cards, and we'll have straw/raffia fans on the seats at the ceremony. Does anyone have any other ideas?

Thanks! I'm looking forward to reading your replies!

Lisa, It's really terrible. It's already enough to plan your wedding long distance, but when you don't hear from anyone and only know what's going on with the brides on here and not your own planning, it's not a good feeling. I am going to PM you a copy of the message I sent.

Msglave and Lisa have you guys tried actually calling them at the wedding center at the royal? You really should not have to do that and this is absurd. I am sorry that you guys are having to deal with this. I thin maybe you guys should call them.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
