ROYAL PLAYA DEL CARMEN BRIDES: were kids allowed for the day? ...and other questions

Recommended Posts

I'm planning on having Fernando do my hair and makeup too. Do any of you know if I also have to pay the vendor fee for him to do a trial the night before? Also, does anyone know how long the trial takes? 1 hour, 1.5 hours, etc?

Hi Ladies! I got married at the Royal on May 28th - it truly was the best week of my life! If any of you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me at boolo318@aol.com. I would also be more than happy to send you a link to my (unprofessional) pics (prof pics coming soon). You can get a feel of the various sites!

I must say, however, you do not have a thing to worry/stress about! I cannot even begin to tell you how impressed we were with everything - they take care of each & every aspect of your wedding, and your entire stay at the resort! No one, including my guests, had a single complaint! You will LOVE every moment of your stay! :)

It might be cheaper to get him a room then you don't have to pay the vendor fees.

These fee's are ridiculus and I've been trying to come up with ways to not pay them! :)

Oh, that is my assumption because they are not staying at the Royal so that means they would have to pay a day pass like any other people who want to go to the Royal to eat/drink unless the WC can sneak him in bypassing the front desk going through Wedding Center.

I will have my review up later today crossing fingers...so much things to go over and upload pictures!

My WC told me that Fernando can come to my room on the wedding day 2 hours before the ceremony and we would not have to pay the vendor fee. For trial I am going to try the same thing and sneak him in through the WC. But if that fails at least I'm only paying the fee once for them not for 2 days, that would be ridiculous!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
