Ya that is the only problem for those brides who booked after December the fee is now $350 for the vendor fee.

I was supposed to be charged for the vendor fee for two makeup artists but i never got charged so i guess i got lucky! They went through the wedding center instead of front lobby.

I had someone to fix my hair so no vendor needed.

oh awesome! your bouquet looked so beautiful - the roses were so vibrant. I am glad to hear you were happy with them.

You did get lucky :) I'll just play that one by ear than to lol

Oh actually, my bouquet came with the package. Everything else except DH's bout and floral centerpiece on the table under the huppa, it was the florist.

Wait, so I'm having Fernando do my makeup and he brings his hair guy with, so is that 2 vendor fees? Luckily I booked back in August and confirmed in writing before Angie go the boot that I had $100 vendor fees, luckily!

 

Speaking of Angie....now that she's gone (well, I'm pretty sure she is) I still haven't heard back from anyone. Who did all of you contact to get your new WC? I feel my blood pressure rising.

Hi girls, Ive been having so much fun reading all your posts on the Royal. I am new to this site but since reading I have decided that I want my wedding at the Royal as well. April 6th 2011... I tried to do a request through the royal website to get someone to contact me about times avail. I only saw that there was only one option for beach location, which was pelicanos, but I heard through here that they have 3 beach locations. The pelicanos is only avail at 1pm which I dont want to do it that early. Does anyone know if they have other beach options that they share with you later? Also I havent got a responce back from anyone yet in order to book. Should I try again or is it just going to take them longer with all the location changes there?

 

Also does anyone know if you can have your wedding ceremony and reception on Porto side if you are staying at the Royal? I was just noticing that they have later times over there for ceremony.

 

One more thing...Does anyone know how to change your username? Somehow mine was put as my email address..sad.gif

There are three beach locations, the pelicanos, the middle beach and the one of the far left in front on the gazebo.

Usually if they do not show up on the site it because those beaches times are already taken for that date. However I am not sure how accurate the web site is.

I am sure as you have seen they are going threw a big transition right now and moving everything to Mexico. I would consider giving them a call in order to get the most accurate information on whats available.

I had emailed my WC in Michigan, Rebekah, about 2 weeks ago asking about what was going on with the office. She told me that a few of them were moving to MX (including herself) and that you should have confirmation about your new one by the end of June. I had also asked a couple follow-up questions about my wedding and a couple random questions since we're doing a site visit in August.

She wrote back to me about a week ago saying she just got down to MX and that she would write soon. I just heard back from her yesterday. She said that she had just gotten settled in and that things were starting to calm down a bit.

Sorry that was a bit scattered...I was trying to give everyone a general time line of what seems to be going on down there. I think that things are a little busy still with the transition but it seems like everyone is settling in. I don't know who to contact though about a new WC if yours was let go or didn't travel down? Maybe you could use the contact email from the Royal's website? I don't know if I have it anymore...

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
