for the sand ceremony, we used when i'm 64 by the beatles.

pre/postlude was a CD of steel drum music.

it was perfect, and we didn't need a DJ at all.
When did you start the music for the sand ceremony? Did you play the entire song or fade out at some point?

we played ours through the whole sand ceremony. music was quietly playing while she read through it and then while we poured the sand.

i was so oblivious to my surroundings that i have absolutely no idea of the song finished or if it was phased out. i'm guessing the latter.

For those of you who have just returned.. what time were your ceremonies? Anyone have theirs at 2 o'clock? The heat indices here in Louisiana is 105 and there is NO wind. I'm getting very nervous that the heat will be intolerable at 2 there.

Hey Everyone!!

I am considering getting married at the Royal but I want a beach ceremony. I have seen a few comments about the beach not being very private. Anyone recently get married on the beach? Did you feel like there were a lot of people around? Did you feel like it took away from the ceremony? This is the main issue that is keeping me on the fence with choosing the royal. Any feedback would be great!

Steph yay!!!! can't wait to hear all about it and see the pictures

Zelda - The beach is not private however the ladies the recently got married had no complaints. If you really want privacy the option would be to get married at 5pm or later the beach is pretty quite by than. Depending on what time of year you are looking into getting married it may start to get dark by than.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
