Also, Any opinions on this? Zulma told me she needed 1 week notice on my flower choice in case they needed to be imported, but when I responded with questions in order to help make my decision- she has been MIA again and now its too late to get anything imported.... Do they have to import roses, cali lillies or gerber daisies??
It was supposed to pour every day that when some of the April brides were getting married, but not a drop! (We prayed for no rain for those ladies and will do the same for you :-)

I'm also having a legal ceremony and want to do a sand ceremony. Lady_Di might have had one...we'll defer to her....

Don't worry Stephanie it has always said rain on the forecast for every single of my trips to Playa and never has it rained :) we will do our sun dance for you lol

Also lillies and roses don't have t be imported, I am not sure about the gerber daisies but I would say they probably don't need to be either

Any suggestions?
TA is def a good idea. I use Jill she is a BDW travel agent and shes awesome. The main thing is with a TA they have a no bump policy which is important at the Royal. They are known for over booking and guests who have booked on on line sites have gotten booted.

In addition if guests pay in full she will match any of the other on line sites. It has really given me a huge peace of mind and saved me so much work. Another thing to she will let the hotel know who get one bed, two beds, what room they are in etc...

I have heard from past brides that their guests that did not use a TA got put in wrong rooms and so on.

So in my opinion I highly recommend it. Especially if is a big group.

I'm having a legal and a sand! I think it's somewhere towards the end but not the VERY end. Not sure where I read that.....

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
