I've missed a lot over the last week, my goodness! Threw FI a big 30th bday party on Saturday and had NO time to check in.

Once you get to the resort for your wedding and meet with your Mexico WC she has a ton of pictures for you to choose from. It also includes the red carpet which you can choose to keep nor not have it if you don't want it.

Also you can choose from chairs with covers of the tiffany chairs.

I am taking down tissue pomanders that I am purchasing from etsy,

6 for inside the gazebo to be hung by white ribbon and I am doing small ones to hang on the tiffany chairs at the end of each row.

Those are too cute!! I love your idea of hanging them on the chairs!

I got a voicemail from Autumn who said Carole is out for a FEW weeks and she is taking over! She confirmed my date of 12/2...and said e-mail her with questions...but didn't leave her e-mail address! I want to e-mail her to send me an updated contract.

Does anyone have Autumn's email adress?

I've been working w/Autumn for Carole this week, too. Just sent in my final payment. I've just been emailing to Carole's email, and Autumn gets back to me SUPER quick from there so just keep sending to Carole.

It is three different sections, but they are fairly close to each other. Like you this is something i was not told and when my fiance and i saw it we were a little disappointed. April, May, June, and November are their busiest months so during those times you're probably going to run into it. Zulma said they are doing 84 weddings this April.

This is so ridiculous! I don't like it and my FI won't either! All The Royal cares about is $. They don't care about us as brides. There policies are dumb as hell! If we didn't have so many people booked...

I'm glad that we did the site visit and witnessed everything first hand instead of being surpsied on our wedding day. At least this way I'll be mentally prepared!

If they are just going to stack the weddings & receptions on top of each other, why do they book times? This really pisses me off!

Jesmcan, where is your reception? Are you having it right after the wedding?

So I started contacting photographers and I'm in shock at how expensive some of them are!! I knew it was going to be a huge expense but come on! Anyways waiting for repsonses from a couple others, but right now leaning towards Samuel Luna. Has anybody worked with him?

Also, what is everybody doing for welcome parties?? I think that it's ridiculous that in order to reserve at one of the restaurants that it's $15 a person. It's an all-inclusive so I don't understand that at all!

Sorry I had to vent. sad.gif

I know! Photographers are expensive but are worth it. I so love del Sol and Elizabeth Medina but they were not in my price range.

That is why we are not doing a welcome dinner but doing a welcome get together at a bar at Gran Porto.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
