We chose the gazebo because my opinion it was the most private. When we went on our site visit there was a wedding and they had people blocking it off so no one with their bathing suits could walk through. They also grew these big bushes around it so no one could look in from the beach. Most people are hanging out by the pool and the restaurants and we noticed there was not much activity where the gazebo was. You do have on lookers from their balconies but our not facing them so non of your guests or you will really notice them. Also I am a heels girl so since this is a stone rock way I could rock them :).

LOL I thought the same thing...and yes, Victoria Secret has a ton of cute ones...although I don't know where I'm gonna get the boobs to hold it up lol

I wish I could tell my bridesmaids to do the same, but I guess that would be too bridezilla? hehe (i just dont like the look of bikini top tan lines with a formal stapless dress)

What was your reasoning for chosing the gazebo? Also, I'm a heels gal, 3" or higher please, but I don't know how anyone will manage that, especially for the reception!!!!
I would have liked the beach one, but as a matter of personal preference (and based on Jesmcam's review), I decided I would have it at Gazebo because I preferred that side of the beach to Pelicano's side

Does anyone know how many guests the gazebo can seat?
ulma told us the largest wedding they had at the gazebo was 150

My problem is the exact OPPOSITE! I have too much to hold it up! Makes it hard to find a top that fits correctly. I didn't even have to tell my bridesmaids they were the one who made me think of it.

ohhh I'm sorry lol no that is outside. Yes the inside is much smaller. The wedding we saw has the bride and groom in the gazebo and all the chairs outside of it. But looking at pictures I would say you can probably get 15-20 on the inside on the gazebo. Not 100 percent sure though.

BTW, a little late for this, but wanted to let you all know that I also had to move my wedding from late Feb 2011 to November due to pricing. My guests will be saving over $1,000 per couple by us having to switch to November. It seems like all us November brides are pretty much in the same boat! It's made for a very profitable November for the Royal!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
