OK... here goes vent time LOL!

I was one of the girls that had Suzanna. NO CLUE she left until I called because I hadn't heard from here in hmmm 2 weeks.

Wait a minute....Suzanna lefthuh.gif? Oh great! I have had issues dealing with her as well. I've gotta call and see who my new contact is.

Thanks for the heads up and good luck!

So, I've called the Royal and have been assigned to Flora. Is anyone working with her and should I be concerned? That is such a bad thing to say, but after the lack of communication I can't exactly be faithful. Now its time to go through my emails and make sure we are on the same page.

My fiance and I are talking about doing a honeyfund. We have lived together for years and have what we need. This is a great option that our guests can contribute to at any denomination.

Yes that is our situation, too. We have owned our own home for 4 years now and do not really need any household items. We initially weren't going to register for anything, but then decided that it was best so that we don't just receive random things. My mom, however, still wants to have a shower, but I don't think it makes any sense.

We are doing the same, this is the site we are using Honeymoon Registry, Travel Planning, Perfect Newlywed Experience | Traveler's Joy - we did this for those who cannot attend the wedding and would still like to send a gift

I also did not want a shower because I felt everyone was spending so much money to come down. Well I found it I am getting one anyways lol. I decided to register at Crate & Barrell and keep everything under $50. I figured we can always use new towels etc

FOR PRIVATE AND SEMI-PRIVATE RECEPTION

SALADS
Royal seafood salad perfumed with plum & peach oil (SP-1)
Was very fishy and the one we had was infused with jasmin, the presentation is amazing but it did not taste that great
Avocado stuffed with crab pulp au fresh dill vinaigrette (SP-2)
This one the dill
very over powering but again beautiful presentation

Spinach soufflé with blueberry sauce au white wine flavor (SP-3)
I think this is the best choice, fish can be hard not everyone likes it

MAIN COURSES
Shrimps au sherry served with jambalaya rice (SP-1)
Red snapper Fantasy stuffed with seafood & black caviar cream (SP-2)
Beef fillet tournedo with fresh wild mushrooms sauce (SP-3)
The beef was cooked perfectly, presentation was amazing def! go with this one, you will love it, again the other ones are just tough because the majority may not like it

DESSERTS
Baked pear stuffed with almond mousse (SP-1)
Paris chocolate shell stuffed with fruit au white Cinzano flavor (SP-2)
The chocolate shell is amazing, they make it all right than and there. I can't remember where my presentation is but I have a link to pictures and this is one of them. It was an amazing dessert and would go perfectly with cake.
Cannoli trio stuffed with praline & raspberry coulis (SP-3)

here is the link for pics from my site visit - http://www.shutterfly.com/lightbox/v...bbd47cbb382743

hope this helps :)
I was looking at your pics again. Do you know which soup was which? There was one in there that kind of looked like a bisque. I'm thinking it must have been the clam chowder, but not sure.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
