I'm confused on what I want. I'm just afraid in the heat the real flower with wilt so fast but I can't find a fake flower I like in a reasonable price range. Thoughts??
This is what I am using. There are lots to choose from at Davids Bridal. They are, however, a little pricey. I paid 49.00$ for it, but when the consultant put them up to my hair with the dress on I fell in love. Damn sales people. LOL

Hmm, maybe this will be different, but I still cannot muster the enthusiasm.
Haha, shopping is ok but I don't want to be shopping all day. I found my dress on my second trip so it was all good!

I have been going back and forth on this, too. If I don't go with the real flower, I will probably do one of these:

ha, the same thing happened to me. i LOVE the headpiece i got! mine was something like $130 because it has swarovski crystals in it. whatever. but i love the net-type veil. can't wait to pair it up with the MAC lashes i bought. i'm not a fan of regular-life drama, but a little drama of this kind for my wedding sure sounds like fun. here's a link to a site with a pic of the headpiece:

ooh, thanks ladies! i'm so glad you like it!

there is a thread out there that's all about lashes. it includes fake lashes as well as lash extensions. seems like some threads got included, so the ladies who spent the ching to get extensions seem a little peeved about people talking about falsies, but who cares? :)

there's also a thread out there about hair and makeup (fun stuff!) that might have some comments about veils and headpieces.

anyway, here's a link to MAC's site, for the lashes i got (the #7s). i started out with a different set but wanted a little more oomph.

M·A·C Cosmetics | 7 Lash

i posted some pictures about my ideas for hair and makeup on that thread - let me know if you can't find it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
