WTF? Seriously? I already paid the stupid vendor fee! I will be sooooooo angry. I am emailing Zulma now to ask, maybe she won't know I paid up.

Good to hear that we can change the roses!

There are just sooo many extra costs that I didn't realize in the begining that now I have to see which ones I really want.
I wish the cupcakes weren't so pricey! I'm not a cake person at all but for some reason I will eat cupcakes. I think it is kind of fun for everyone to grab them and eat them as they like...but that is WAY too much money!

Did anyone find out if they will credit your free cake towards the couture ones? Sorry if it was already mentioned.

so remember how i sat in angies's junk folder in her e-mail for two weeks? i have now been in contact with her since monday about upgrading to a private reception on the beach. i JUST got an e-mail from her that said no beach locations (either at the royal or the gran porto) are available. i am pretty upset about that. we likely would've had a different answer if we would have been able to address the question when i first brought it up to her. sooooooo frustrating!!

I have Julie as my WC and she told me that the if I change the cake they will not give me the credit so like you ladies said most of our guest will be full by the time the cake and other dessert comes so we will take the free cake. I also emailed her about the altrenating the roses just so that I have it in writing =)

I emailed DJ Ivan and he quoted my $850 for 3 hours including the cold fire works. Does anyone know if I book thru Royal do they include the fireworks in thier charge or am I going to have to pay extra for ithuh.gif

That is very disheartening, especially since it wasn't your fault.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
