Can anyone tell me, does the Royal Playa Del Carmen make guests wear bracelets (I really hope not)? And my step brother is coming to my wedding but he's only 17, do they bracelet him because he's underage or do they care? BTW what is the legal drinking age in Mexico?

We're doing the ipod thing in the garden area and planning on no dance floor since the wood planks are not gonna work for our dancing group, but the more I think about it, the more I want that light up dance floor.
Yes but as Di said, it is like $700

Yes they do bracelets but they let you remove them for the wedding so you don't have them showing in pictures. I would think your brother would have a bracelet too, not sure if it is different colors or something due to his age. And I'm not sure what the drinking age is in Mexico.

Last time I checked (this was a few years ago) the drinking age was 18.

Oh my heavens ladies!!!!!! Drama Drama Drama! I am 1 1/2 months out from my wedding and all in one week my mother decided to be a no show for my shower, then told me she won't be at my wedding since my dad is bringing his new fiance. My FI mom and sister got into a huge fight and won't speak to each other...and now on top of everything else I just had a groomsmen drop out saying he has to leave for Hong Kong for work! Seriously..worst week ever!

wow, your mom is being selfish. who cares about his fiance? it is your wedding and she should be there for you!

Is anyone else doing real touch flowers?
how many people will be at your wedding? i understand that it's a difficult emotional situation for your mom, but this is her daughter's WEDDING we're talking about! maybe it would help if you were able to seat her in front of your dad so she didn't have to look at them during the ceremony (she should, after all, be looking at you!) and have them at different tables with their backs to each other for the dinner. and they should just man up and handle it for the dance or cocktail hours, etc. the focus should be on you and your wedding! ugh, good luck with that!

and about the dropped groomsman, it sucks but i wouldn't sweat it too much. what guy wouldn't want to fill in and escort two lovely ladies down the isle? all that really matters is that both you and your groom show up!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
