I had my wedding shower yesterday! It was so much fun! It is definitely weird being on the other side after so many years of going to these things!
i think i'm going to be absolutely fine with whatever centerpiece they put together - nice that they make it to match!

ooh, fun - a shower! hope you had a good time and got a lot of good stuff!

i don't think i've mentioned on this forum at all, but i was married before, so with a second wedding, i don't get all the fun stuff like showers and all those good things. that's part of the reason for us keeping this so simple and small. we've both already done the big church wedding thing and now we just get to do a wedding just for us. simple, small, and perfect for just what we want to do! :)

I e-mailed Carole today, and recieved a response within hours! She says for now she will be my coordinator, but she is training someone in replace of Suzanna who will be working with me with Carole's supervison later on. She asked me to pick my package already to get it on file.

She also said the rooms rates for Real will be available later today!

Hey Everyone,

On OOT bags, I heard that it is $5 per bag to have them delivered to the room. You can leave them at the front desk the day of arrival at no cost. Not sure if this has changed as this was from Kimberly.

Lady Di,

I have been looking for that etsy link for the personalized bags. I'll post as soon as I find! I ended up going with the canvas ones from theknot.com. They havent arrived yet, but I will let you know how they come out when they do! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
