I am looking to make my invites with Stardream Metallic paper. Has anyone ordered the text weight? Is it sparkly like the coverweight is? Can you use inkjet for the text weight? ( I know you can't with the coverweight metallic). I am at a loss as to which to buy for the layers. Anyone have a better metallic paper? Sorry so many questions. Thanks.

We only used our metallic text weight for backing, but I'm thinking it would be the same as cover weight as far as the printer goes. I've heard you can use a laser printer on it tho, and also heard that if you need new ink anyways it's cheaper to just buy a new printer? Maybe this will help you.

I ordered text weight. It is sparkly and much easier to print than cardstock (which constantly jammed my printer). However, it is very flimsy so we are backing it with cardstock.

FYI, if you are ordering paper (cardstock or text weight) order it all at once. I ordered the brown stardeam cardstock via paperandmore (which is fast by the way) however never paid attention that the colors differed when I ordered the second time. It really is not that big of a deal, but I was bummed since I really liked the shade of brown on the second order but had already cut 100 sheets from the first orders for my backing.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
