Skin peel or Microdermabrasion?

i've had both and jenny is so right. I think the peel is more abrasive b/c it literally peels a few layers of your skin off chemically. i looked pretty flaky a few days after and had glowing, tight skin a week later. with the micro, my face peels a bit but not as bad. i think you get the most benefit with the micro when you go every 6 weeks. I've been doing that and i can tell my face is fresher. i personally just don't like the way the peal feels...hot and burning. uncomfortable more than the micro.

I have had 3 microderms and I actually think it feels really good. Your skin will never feel so clean! They say it feels like a cat's tongue and I agree. I notice a change in my skin, but need to go a few more times. I go to a beauty college and pay only 34 dollars each time. I think it's pretty hard to screw up so I would trust a trainee on this one!

Yea when I was learning it in school, my teacher would be in the room with me until I was comfortable enough doing it on the clients alone. It's definitely the cheapest route.. going to a beauty school. I believe at my school they only charged like $50 where as at the spa I worked at, they charged $135 for one session.

in the winter im pretty fair but i can get tan, is that ok? (im mostly irish) i bought this kit last night at target and i used it, a microdermabrasion, but from what you guys are saying, it dont sound like its very good. i mean, my face DEF feels softer but i dunno. maybe i should go for a professional one............

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
